Gallery 115 is a private, unassuming creative space in the heart of Calgary’s Chinatown. Easy to enter during regular business hours, lots of parking on the street and accessible by transit. Footsteps from the hustle and bustle of Calgary’s diverse Chinatown and river path, Gallery 115 offers a great space to fulfill your creative needs.

The space consists of two rooms, the front room is the make up area and change room or the front entrance to your gallery showing. This area also has long grey curtains for shooting portraiture. The back room, separated by a door can be used for photoshoots, hang your gallery show, film your live Youtube video, or a personal yoga studio. Maybe you want to set up a space for consignment or hold a large meeting, the options are open!

A rental of the space includes the use of a make up desk, hangers and garment rack, steamer, access to the fridge with refreshments. In the studio space is another simple work desk with an optional extended Apple monitor. Bose speakers that connect to your phone enhances your studio experience.

A couch and nesting tables provide a place to have meetings and discuss creative projects. A studio light with colour changing bulbs makes simple coloured photoshoots super easy.

The space has all amenities and rentals to provide for a fantastic creative shoot or to use to hang for your next big art show! You keep all the commission :)

Please note, this space has no natural light, this is to benefit the preciseness of using strobes or incandescent lighting which is essential for studio shots. Boom arm, backdrops and other items are available for rental. See the Pricing tab for options.

The front room measures 11’ x 13’10 feet. The gallery rear room measures 13’10 x 25 feet.

The space will be cleaned suitable for Covid purposes.
